Investions are ongoing in Narok following an incident where a police officer was found unconscious after being attacked by unknown assailants.
On Saturday June 8, the officer, identified as Corporal Paul Macharia, was found beaten at Ololulunga market.
Police report suggests that the officer attached to Ololulunga police station was assaulted a few kilometres from his house.
The residents who found the policeman lying in a pool of blood informed the local authorities who visited the scene.
“The officer Corporal Paul Macharia, attached to Ololulunga police station, was found lying unconscious after being assaulted by unknown persons on the night of Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, at an unknown time. The scene was documented after the police visited the site,” a part of the police report.
Also, the police who visited the scene also found a packet of milk and a bunch of keys beside the helpless officer. Macharia was rushed to the nearby Longisa Hospital for further treatment.
