Hawker Boniface Kariuki Who was Shot By Police During Anti-Killing Protests Undergoes Operation

The Surgery for Boniface Kariuki, the civilian who was shot during protests in Nairobi yesterday, has been reported successful.

Confirming the reports, his father, Jonah, ssaysKariuki is under observation.

Within a while, one of the officers opened fire and shot the victim in his head as the two watched him fall.

Boniface was later declared to have survived, despite reports circulating on Socia Media that he had died on the spot.

The National Police Service announced that Kariuki was admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital in a critical condition.

Even though Boniface was presumably not actively participating in demonstrations, he was intentionally shot by an officer who focused on his head.
