Kimilili Mp Didmus Barasa has suggested that the government should not fund the funeral of George Magoha, but instead the money should be given to the needy families and those with pending hospital bills.
This comes barely a day after Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua announced that the government will take charge of the funeral process, and will provide food to the families living near the Magoha’s family.
In his urgument, Barasa said that the family of Magoha is rich and hence the money is supposed to support the people with basic needs.
The former Education Cabinet Secretary will be buried on 11th February 2023.
