Energy Cabinet secretary Davis Chirchir, during an interrogation said that fuel prices may rise to Ksh 300 if the war between Israel and Hamas continues.
“The international price of fuel could go up to 150 dollars. This would literally mean our petroleum prices could go up to Sh300 per litre at the Pump. We hope it will not get there,” Vhirchir said.
Davis was speaking before the National Dialogue committee at Bomas of Kenya today, 06/11/2023.
This comes amid outcry by Kenyans over high cost of living.
