Uhuru Kenyatta Opts Out Kenya Airforce, Boards Uganda Airlines Plane For DRC

Former president Uhuru Kenyatta was spotted having boarded Uganda Airlines plane to DRC instead of using Kenya Airforce.

Kenyatta landed at the N’Djili International Airport on the outskirts of DRC’s Kinshasa capital on Friday, January 19, to attend the inauguration of President Felix Tshisekedi.

However, President Ruto shared a sitting area with Uhuru during the swearing in ceremony.

Tsishekedi was re-elected in the general election held across the DRC on December 20, 2023.

He garnered a dominant 73.47% of the total votes, routing his main opposition opponent Moise Katumbi who secured a paltry 18.08%.
