Popular preacher, Muthee Kiengei has Condemned Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja for hiting back at Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Sakaja had attacked Gachagua, saying that the Deputy President has been torturing people for two years, Sakaja stating that only God and Nairobi residents can claim to have given him the Governor’s seat.
“Huwezi kuwa unanyanyasa watu for two years, unatajwa wiki moja unaenda kwa msitu sijui wapi.” Sakaja said.
Muthee Kiengei in his statement to Sakaja, he highlights areas where the governor has failed as he seemingly disrespects Gachagua.
“Sakaja Johnson the Governor of Nairobi, Let me address you not like a Spiritual leader but like a Kenyan Voter who bears the sovereign power of the constitution in Kenya with a freedom of speech……. Today you’ve decided to poke your fingers not only to the Deputy President H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH but to the young men and women of mount Kenya who respect him not only as the top regional leader but as a father…… in kikuyu tradition, we don’t adress fathers by their names…..Sakaja, Have you ever heard anyone address Luhya respected leaders by their names? Why call our Leader names when he is fighting for the rights of the people who voted with a clear 85% to be in the government, You were made by Kikuyus through Nominations from TNA, JUBILEE senator and the same Nyùmba people elected you through the UDA ticket to become the Governor of Nairobi without knowing that in your hands we will suffer in this city….. Sakaja, You picked Muchiri from Nyandarua to become your running mate as a convincing move in harvesting our Nyùmba votes, But today you got guts to address a whole DEPUTY PRESIDENT of KENYA 🇰🇪 like your own son Just because you want to copy the small boys of Mount Kenya in tainting their father’s image for their own interests……Sakaja, We won’t allow you to address us with pride when the city is failing in your own hands, Don’t use our leaders as your excuses for not delivering, Gikomba and all demolitions happening without a solution from your desk, Do people sleep in Gikomba or its just sabotage their economic factor??…….. This is My message to you, Gachagua is a National interest, You are Just a regional view when it comes to voting………In mount Kenya we don’t fully agree with what the Deputy President is doing or saying, But we can’t sit back and watch young boys in politics belittling the Second in command…..Mr President H.E William Samoei Ruto This is your high time of redemption, Hold this small bulls trying to climb on behalf of their father, Killing Mount Kenya young men with guns, ignoring their father, Prove for once that your intentions were not to use Rigathi Gachagua in fighting Uhuru Kenyatta……. We are watching and taking notes,” Kiengei wrote.
