Main Suspect Behind Kware Killings Arrested

The main suspect behind the horrific murders of the persons found in Kware dumpsite in Mukuru kwa Njenga, in Embakasi South Constituency has been arrested.

The suspect, 33-year-old Collins Jomaisi Khalisia, from Vihiga County allegedly dumped the body of his first victim – his wife – in the quarry in 2022. 

DCI boss Mohamed Amin says Jumaisha has confessed to killing 42 women; including his wife, between 2022 and July 11, 2024.

Collins was arrested at a club in Kayole, and found in possession of multiple sim cards.

He is suspected to have killed the victims, wrapped bodies in polythene bags that were retrieved in the dumpsite.

 He was taken to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters in Kiambu awaiting further police action.

On sunday, Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja confirmed that 8 bodies and 12 body parts have been retrieved from the dumpsite as further probe on the gruesome incident continues.
