Activist Boniface Mwangi’s Disturbing Message Leaves Kenyans Worried

Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi shared a sensitive tweet before deactivating his X and Instagram accounts, leaving Kenyans in confusion, some wondering whether he was alright.

Boniface stated that there comes a point in time when one is tired and ready to move on to the next life.

“Someone gets to a stage in life, and they decide this is it for them. They’re ready for the next world. The pain, troubles, and expectations of others in this world are too much. They exit the stage, celebrate their life. End of story.”

The tweet left several X personalities, including activist Hanifa, trying to reach out to him and the family.

In March and June, the activist was among other influencers who joined protestors against the anti-government protests.

In June, former chief justice Willy Mutunga joined activists Boniface, Hanifa, and Hussein Khalid in advocating for the release of abducted colleagues.

The four stormed the DCI headquarters along Kiambu Road to complain about the illegal abductions of anti-Finance Bill protesters.

However, the three activists were arrested and ferried to the Nairobi Area Regional Police Headquarters in five Subaru vehicles.
