Former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has been sentenced to 12 years in prison or a Sh53.5 million fine, in a case of a 588 Million graft.
The Ex-governor has also been barred from serving in any public office for 10 years.
He wass being sentenced together with six others.
Waititu’s wife, Susan Wangari was handed a one-year jail term or Sh500,000 fine in the said case.
Luka Mwangi was also handed a fine of Ksh.20 million.
Charles Chege was sentenced to 7 years in jail.
