Malava Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi is dead.
Injendi died on Monday while undergoing treatment at Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi.
The Clerk of the National Assembly confirmed the news on Monday, but was yet to issue an official press statement.
Malulu was also the Vice Chairman of the Departmental Committee on Education and Research.
The deceased was serving his third term as an MP, having served continuously since 2013 (11th Parliament).
He has been described as a dedicated and passionate representative who served his constituents with unwavering commitment and integrity.
Saboti MP Caleb Amisi mourned the MP condoling with the family, friends, and the constituency of Injendi.
“Mhesh has rested. Go well, Malulu. My condolences to the family and his constituents,” he grieved.
ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale tweeted, “Hon. Injendi Malulu, a cool man. It is well.”
The National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah mourned Malulu as a friend and colleague.
“It is with heartfelt sympathy that we mourn a colleague and friend, Hon. Moses Malulu Injendi. His dedication to serving Malava and his unwavering commitment to uplifting his constituents were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working alongside him in Parliament,” said Ichung’wah.
