School Bus Rolls Killing 21 On The Spot At Coptic, Kisumu

A school bus fatally killed Twenty one people at Coptic area on the Kisumu-Kakamega road in the Friday evening tragedy.

The bus, which was ferrying mourners from Nyahera to Nyakach in Kisumu County, was trying to turn a corner at the Coptic blackspot when it rolled.

The ill-fated bus had 61 passengers on board

Nyanza Regional Traffic Enforcement Officer Peter Maina, Confirming the incident, said the fatalities are 10 men, 10 women and an eight-month-old baby.

Bodies of the deceased have been moved to the same facility’s Mortuary.
