Late Johana Ng’eno’s Brother Is Dead

The brother of the late Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng’eno, Mr Paul Ng’eno died while receiving Treatment, throwing the family ino another devastating loss.

It comes just months after the family mourned the loss of the MP.

It is reported that he faced a motorcycle accident and sustained serious injuries to his throat and spinal cord.

He underwent surgery to repair the injuries, but sadly, he did not recover.

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua had on Friday, 21st August visited the family and pledged to settle Paul’s KSh 1.8 million hospital bill.

Paul died hours after the visit by Rigathi Gachagua, who also pledged to construct a Mausoleum for Johana.

The family said his health unexpectedly deteriorated despite having been considered stable after undergoing surgery, and even family having started preparing to discharge him.

His demise comes 174 days after the death of his younger brother Johana who was among six people who perished in a chopper crash at Chepkiep village, Mosop Sub-County in Nandi county on 28th February 2026.

Paul was the only brother to the late MP, and the only surviving son of Mary Temas, also known as Mama Mary.

Paul’s other siblings included Elizabeth Chumo and Sarah Temas.

Gachagua Mourns Death Of Paul

After the news of the death of Paul Ng’eno broke countrywide, Rigathi took to his Facebook page to note down his tributes.

“To Mama Mary Temas, mother to the late Emurua Dikirr MP, Hon. Johanna Ng’eno, pole sana on the loss of your son, Mr. Paul Ng’eno, who had been hospitalized for a while.No words of consolation are strong enough for you at this moment, but only God’s grace is sufficient. I pray for you, Mama Mary.I know that, for a moment, you may question God why this has happened to you and to your sons.Many of us will ask, but the will of God is absolute. We may not understand the pain in your heart at the moment. But it is truly painful to lose your two sons within a short period.Please accept my deepest sympathies to you and your family.To the people of Emurua Dikirr, poleni sana on the loss of Paul Ng’eno.May the Almighty God give you peace and strength during this difficult moment.May the soul of Paul Ng’eno rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him forever.” Gachagua wrote.
