Cabo Verdean goalkeeper Josimar José Évora Dias, commonly known by the nickname Vozinha has said his life has completely changed very negatively since becoming one of the revelations of the 2026 World Cup.
He complains that he has not been in peace since he rose to the limelight.
He told The Observer : “I have my peace and tranquillity. I don’t have privacy anymore, or at least much less than before.”
“Now when I go out or go to a restaurant, there is always someone asking for a photo or an autograph. or even worse, someone filming me”
“During the World Cup, there were many companies and brands that wanted to work with me. But while we were competing, I only did one promotional collaboration, with UFL Mobile.”
“For now, I don’t want to work with tobacco, alcohol or betting brands.”
“To be honest, if I had to choose between the life I have today and the life I had before, I would choose the life I had before.”
