Robert Chelogoi from Chelemei Village, Kipreres Ward, Bomet East Sub-County, Bomet County has been battling a serious chronic illness since 2005.
According to reports, a small wound erupted on his nose and gradually worsened over the years, forming a deep hollow wound and eventually leading to the complete loss of his eyesight.
He has sought treatment in several hospitals, including Longisa County Referral Hospital, and was later referred to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital in Eldoret, where he underwent chemotherapy.
Doctors recently recommended further specialized treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital.
However, due to years of medical struggles, his family has exhausted all resources and is pleading with well wishers to help them.
