A man identified as Christopher Okello Onyu attacked a daycare centre and killed four children in broad daylight.
The 34-year-old stormed the facility situated at Makindye Division, Kampala Uganda.
He posed as a parent to gain access.
He first entered the school offices and briefly spoke with the administrator before stepping outside, locking the gate, and launching the disturbing attack.
Four children were killed in the incident, which has shocked residents of the upscale Ggaba area.
Teachers raised alarm as the situation unfolded.
The suspect attempted to flee but was arrested by a security guard from a nearby church.
Angry residents gathered and tried to attack him, but police intervened and took him into custody.
