Woman With Tatoos Of Ruto Attacked By Masked Men, Drenched With Acid

A woman from the Mwiki area in Kasarani, Nairobi county, is fighting for her life following an alleged brutal attack by unknown men.

Racheal Wandeto, who went viral for tattooing President William Ruto’s face on her chest, has been hospitalised after allegedly being attacked by masked men.

The woman, who was reportedly rejected by her husband after also tattooing the words “tu term” on her chest, was allegedly wetted with acid by the suspects.

According to reports, three masked men accosted her and told her to share with them what Ruto had given her.

Racheal told them she did not have what they wanted. They then poured acid on her and set her hair on fire before disappearing,” a post read.

Wandeto, who had also written Ruto’s name on her head, was rushed to Uzima Uhai Hospital after being rescued by kind-hearted civilians.

Images showing her condition went viral on social media, with a section of users appealing for justice on her behalf as she continued receiving treatment at the hospital.
