Man Accused Of Raping Estranged Wife Twice In Front Of Her Boyfriend

A 41-year-old man has appeared in court facing allegations that he raped his estranged wife twice during a confrontation at her home, while her alleged boyfriend was reportedly forced to watch.Albert Tambara is also accused of threatening the woman with a knife during the alleged incident, which the State says occurred in the early hours of September 6.Trace Family History

According to the prosecution, Tambara arrived at his estranged wife’s home around midnight and allegedly forced his way into her bedroom, where she was with another man believed to be her boyfriend.

The State alleges that Tambara picked up a knife and threatened his wife before pouring a drink over her and allegedly tearing her dress.

He is further accused of ordering the woman to perform a sexual act while continuing to threaten her with the weapon.

The prosecution alleges that Tambara subsequently raped the woman without protection while her boyfriend was present.The State further claims that Tambara ordered the other man to have sexual intercourse with the woman, but he refused.Tambara is then alleged to have sexually assaulted his estranged wife for a second time before leaving the scene.Try Marriage Counseling

The woman was later taken to hospital for medical examinations. The resulting medical report is expected to be presented as part of the State’s evidence.

The allegations are before the courts and have not yet been tested in trial.
