A Sheriff described his absolute disgust after being called to what he described as a “kerfuffle” at a home.
46-year-old mother Christina Clemens had called the police to report that she had been assaulted by her son, Shane in Lakeland, south-west of Orlando, Florida.
In a Facebook video, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd issued a warning to Shane, saying: “Shane, you ought not to ever lay a hand on your mama for a lot of reasons, but you have one more reason why you shouldn’t.”
That additional reason came after a shock confession from Shane, who lost his temper after police had arrived at the home he shared with his mum and stepfather: “He got mad because she called and we arrested him for hitting mama,” Sheriff Judd explained,
“And then he said, ‘Well, I tell you what. I’ve been having sex with my mama since I was 18-years-old. Get a grip’.”
Sheriff Judd spoke to Christina Clemens for confirmation of this shocking allegation, and received a jaw-dropping response: “We asked, ‘Mama, have you have been having sex with your son since he was 18?’ and she said ‘Only about a hundred times’.
“I didn’t stutter,” Sheriff Judd added, “That’s what she told us.”
In an affidavit, Polk County Deputy Allison Langley wrote: “Shane Clemens advised the argument started because he was tired of having sexual intercourse with his mom, Christina Clemens.
Shane advised the last time him and Christina had sexual intercourse was approximately two days ago at their shared residence.
“The sexual intercourse consists of ‘oral sex, regular sex, and anal sex’. Shane confirmed Christina utilises sexual toys that are next her bed. There are also cameras in the living room and bedroom that record the incidents.”
The pair admitted that they would engage in sexual intercourse when nobody was at home or when everyone else was asleep.
Sheriff Judd explained that Shane’s stepfather had somehow been unaware of what had been going on: “We put the case together and we asked Christina’s husband ‘Are y’all happily married and living together?’ and he said ‘Oh, yeah’.”
However, when he was asked if he was aware that his wife was having sex with her son, Christian’s husband stated: “No, I absolutely was not, but I think I am a little suspicious that they used to go in the master bedroom and lock the door.”
Sheriff Judd said: “What else can you say? That’s nasty. And it’s illegal.”
Both Shane and his mother were charged with incest, and Christina was also charged with adultery. That offence is “still on the books” Sheriff Judd pointed out.
