Edson Arantes Do Nascimento popularly known as Pelé, has passed away after battling Cancer for years.
He was born on October 23, 1940 at Tres Coracoes, State of Minas Gerais,Brazil. and died on December 29, 2022.
Pelle was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a forward. Regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and labelled “the greatest” by FIFA, he was among the most successful and popular sports figures of the 20th century.
The legend is the only player to win three World Cup trophies.
He was maried to Marcia Aoki (m. 2016) and Assíria Nascimento (m. 1994–2008) and his children are; Edinho, Sandra Regina Arantes do Nascimento, Joshua Nascimento, Celeste and Nascimento.
