4 People Dies In Nithi Bridge Accident

Four people have died, early Sunday following a deadly accident at Nithi Bridge along Embu-Meru Highway in Tharaka Nithi County.

The accident involved a Kensilver bus which was heading to Nairobi from Maua when it’s brakes reportedly failed and it overturned.

Meru County police commander Zacchaeus Ng’eno, confirming the incident said that the cause of the accident is still unknown but police have launched investigations into the matter.

The area along the bridge, which is over a three-Kilometre stretch connecting the counties of Embu and Tharaka Nithi, is said to be a blackspot.
