Members of a church in Kitui experienced a difficult service yesterday after their lead preacher was shot by police on Saturday night as he was stealing.
The pastor was caught by patrol police while in thuggery with a self-made gun, a sword and a fake police walkie talkie.
The said evangelist was in the company of a church elder who escaped the scene with gunshot injuries.
The church members are yet to come to terms that their pastor was also a robber who would preach during the day and turn to theft at night.
