Fyah Mummah Njambi’s body was received by her fans with dancing and singing in Lang’ata cemetery, but however the situation turned chaotic shortly after the body was about to be lowered away.
The crowd started dancing after a reggae song was played and the emcee had to call for calm and urged the crowd to make way for Njambi’s mother.
“Please let us respect the family and give them space so we can finish the burial,” a man said to a crowd which however had sank into the emotional enthusiasm of paying thei last respect.
Her casket was then carried to the grave, where a crowd mobbed, trying to catch a last glimpse of her, and the security team, including the cops faced a hard time controlling the crowd.
The security team surrounded the family members, shielding them from the shoving crowd, with some mourners climbing trees to observe the proceedings.
