Jowie Irungu who was sentenced to death has lost his father, Julius Irungu.
Julius died aged 64, and his Widow, Annastacia Thaama says he succumbed to cancer at Nakuru Level 5 Hospital Annex, 16th June 2024.
Jowie Irungu’s family has however pleaded with the government for Jowie to be allowed to participate in his father’s burial.
Jowie was convicted over the murder of Monica Kimani, and he is still in prison.
