A milk transporter from Embu, John Kinyua, was left in disbelief of the financial loss he would incur after a regrettable accident on his delivery route spilt 182 litres of milk belonging to a daily.
Kinyua was unfortunately involved in an accident on a muddy road causing him to lose gallons of milk he was transporting to the market.
In viral photos, he was spotted sitting on the side of the road, lost in thought
In an interview, Kinyua told TUKO.co.ke that the accident was contributed by poor road conditions.
“The road is not good because it has been raining, so the bike skidded on the road and toppled over,” he said.
Kinyua, was carrying milk valued at 55 KSh per litre. With 182 liters lost, this amounts to a total of KSh 10,010. Kinyua revealed that the cost of the spilt milk will be deducted from his earnings at the end of the month.
“I hope a good Samaritan will come forward and help me balance the loss because being deducted all that money will affect my budget by a big margin,” Kinyua pleaded.
