End Of The Road For Search Of Abductee Justus Mutumwa, As Body Is Found In Coldness, 45 Days Later

Justus Mutuma, One of the three youthful men who were allegedly abducted in Mlolongo, Nairobi last December has been discovered dead.

Mutumwa’s body was positively identified at the Nairobi Funeral Home, formerly known as City Mortuary.

Justus went missing on December 16, 2024, alongside Martin Mwau and Karani Muema. For over a month, the whereabouts of the three men remained unknown.

Mutumwa’s family said that they were informed that the body had been collected from Ruai and taken to the Nairobi Funeral Home on December 18th — just two days after Mutumwa disappeared.

This discovery comes amidst repeated denials by top police agencies regarding the whereabouts of the three young men.

After defying several court summons concerning the matter, Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja and Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Mohammed Amin finally appeared in court on Thursday.

However, they denied knowing the whereabouts of the three men, Amin informing the court that the matter was still under investigation.
