The DCI detectives have arrested Kelvin Kinyanjui Kang’ethe who had escaped from Muthaiga police custody on February 7, 2024.
“The escapee was taken to custody last night following a scrupulous intelligence-led operation within Ngong township in Kajiado County.
The murder suspect had escaped from Muthaiga Police Station where he was being held awaiting extradition to the United States to answer to a charge of first degree murder,” part of the DCI’s statement read.
Kang’ethe is suspected to have killed his lover in United States Of America before travelling to Kenya.
