Jowie Irungu, Who Was Found Guilty Of Killing Monica Kimani To Be Sentenced Today

Jowie Irungu who was found guilty of killing businesswoman Monica Kimani will be sentenced today.

The sentencing was scheduled to be discharged on 8th March 2024 but was postponed to 13th March.

Former News Anchor Jacque Maribe who was also aligned alongside Jowie, was set free after the court rendered her not guilty.

The court ruled out that Irungu, beyond reasonable dobt, actually murdered Monica in cold blood.

The family of Monica has recently pleaded with the court to sentence Jowie to death.

According to The late Monica’s mother,  Jowie killed Monica in a brutal manner, and therefore he should be sentenced to death.
