Lorry With Three Occupants Plunges Into Ena River

Three people are currently in hospital after the lorry they were travelling in veered off at Ena bridge along the Embu-Meru highway.

The lorry, which was also carrying cement plunged into River Ena.

The occupants, two men and a woman were saved by locals from the lorry which was halfway submerged into the filled river.

The victims were rushed to Tenri Ena with slight injuries.

The driver of the lorry was reportedly trying to avoid collision with another lorry that drove into the highway without giving way to oncoming traffic.
