Shocking Amount Bahati Spent In Production Of His New Reality Show

One of Kenya’s top musicians, Kelvin Bahati recently held a launch of his brand new show on Netflix.

The event was graced by among other leaders Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Nairobi senator Karen Nyamu, and Lang’ata Mp Felix Odwuol.

The reality show, dubbed The Bahati Empire will make Bahati the first person in Kenya to appear in a reality show on Netflix.

The launch comes after weeks of cryptic social media posts by Bahati, that left fans buzzing. Finally, Bahati unveiled the trailer, revealing a star-studded cast including The Murayas, Karen Nyamu, Jalang’o, and Rev Lucy Natasha.

“We’re thrilled to make history as the first Kenyan family on Netflix,” Bahati said. “The Bahati Empire’ will showcase our real lives, the good, the bad, and the ugly – entirely unscripted!” he said.

Bahati divulged in a recent interview that the whole show used roughly Ksh 47 million Kenya shillings to produce.

“The Bahati Empire” follows Bahati’s previous reality show, “Being Bahati,” which aired on Kenyan national television. This new venture promises a fresh take, offering a glimpse into the unfiltered world of the Bahati family.
