A police officer stationed in Marsabit horrifically killed three children before taking his own life.
Constable Kevin Odhiambo from Homa Bay committed the four crimes at Kakdhimu East Location, Kawiti Sub Location, Kawarwai village of Rachuonyo West Sub County.
Reports claims that the police officer gave the minors poison and then he hunged himself.
It’s believed that Odhiambo took the hard decision over frustrations related to his cheating wife, identified as Maureen Awuor.
The three children who were slain included his two children and a young boy related to the said wife—who was also living with them.
Suicide Notes
Mr Kevin left two well-elaborated suicide notes which left many in shock.
In a letter, the cop demanded to be buried with the three children in one grave, and that the bodies will not be inserted into coffins.
The deceased further directed that no food will be served at the funeral.
He also asked his boss— Suba South police chief, to ensure police service rites are observed during his burial.
Message To Wife
Constable Odhiambo, in his lengthy note, told his wife Awuor to marry her extramarital partner, identified as Linoh Lusi
The police officer, in the notes, disclosed that the said wife had been having affairs outside their wedlock, and her parents were happy of that.
Odhiambo told the wife to take man in peace now that he is out of their way.
Confessions Of Planned Revenge
Odhiambo, in his suicide note, disclosed that he had earlier planned to burn the in-laws inside their house, before he changed his mind.
He wrote that he had also planned to take away the life of his boss who had been mistreating him and other officers.
He clarified that he took the lives of his two children to cut the ties they had with their mother, and the life of the other child to prevent further multiply of his In-laws.
