Thiru Day Secondary School learners who were on their way home on the evening of Tuesday, March 21, escaped deaths when their bus overturned on a busy road.
Tho students however sustained fructures as One of the Staffers of the school who were among the occupants reportedly sustained serious injuries.
The casualties are currently admitted to the Nyahururu County Referral Hospital for treatment.
In a statemrnt, the hospital said that about 30 students had been subjected to urgent reviews due to the magnitude of their injuries.
“Twenty-five to 30 students remained in casualty as they needed urgent reviews. Based on our analysis, most of them had stable vitals and only one needed admission due to fractures,” Muhoro Mathenge, the medic in charge of the facility, was quoted by tv47.digital as having said.
