Frankford Karanja Mogire escaped death by a whosker, surviving the April 18 tragic KDF helicopter crash that killed the Chief of Defence Forces, General Francis Ogolla and other top officers.
Karanja enlisted in the forces in 2015, leveraging his background in journalism to serve as a KDF photographer.
Reports also reveals that his father also serves in the military.
